Hey sorry dudes. I started the "Is Dave bi" thread. I never saw it as a negative thing one way or another. I assume that Dave - whatever he is and whoever he does - has earned our respect for his years as the archetypal front man of the greatest rock n' roll machine ever to stomp this great earth.

No matter what he does or has not done since that time will never undo the man's legacy.

Either way -- if Dave wants to sit on a beach drinking Mai Tais or screw water buffalo in Sri Lanka, he's entitled and it will never change the point of fact: Dave was this planets most mighty cock-sure-swagger-strutting rock n' roll singers and he will never be outdone. It's pretty fucking simple to understand.

Dude -- you go read my first post ---- Last time I saw Dave it was a really bad show. He was really messed up on coke. Considering the times I saw him before that it was quite a shock.

I think it's OK to let Dave today be whatever Dave is today -- My Dave of yesteryear is still alive in my memories.

I'm lucky -- I saw CVH and nothing has ever lived up to it since.

if there wasn't such a great legacy of old vh and even the first few solo years i really don't think that the last couple hundred diehards would even be fans. we all try to remember dave of yesterday, today he is just a different person.

I agree with Sagebush, there`s far too many negative posts on this board! Maybe people are growing frustrated over the fact that with each passing day a reunion is less likely to happen? (considering Ed`s health, Dave`s age and all..) I guess it`s easy to vent your anger at the ones who "let you down". Still; let`s be positive and celebrate all the good music they`ve given us! DLR is the greatest! He`s second only to Paul Stanley (also not bi, I`m told) in my book!
