I actually think Cherone is awful, not because of VHIII, I thought it at the time of Extreme.

He can't really sing in tune, and to me he made Nuno's killer riff-songs sound cheesy and winy.

omg i agree. I think his voice sucks (too much wail) and he overdoes the effects pedals. His guitar shit is too hyper and it sounds really cheesy and trashy.
