I thought the Bassman one sounded better...

The tremolo, or vibrato on the '65 sounds totally fake...

What are you looking for, a SRV kind of bluesy power tone kinda thing ??

Neither one does anything I can't already do...

Of course, I have one of everything already...

Give me a cranked Dual Showman with 15" JBL speakers in the cab.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

Yeah...I was leaning towards the Bassman....

Thought it'd be a cheap way to hot-rod my old amp.....

I use it in combo with the Marshall....I split the sampler to it....

              It's gonna be Kewl

Well, just remember it's a modeling pedal and the digital output that it will send to your amp is vastly different than a regular stomp box...

There are also several blues type pedals that have actual 12AX7 tubes in them to modify your signal...

                For a similar price...

I agree...the Bassman sounds way better. Hmm...that could be a way to get a couple more rhythm sounds out of my Boogie. Unless of course it sounded like shit in front of an amp's clean channel...

And yeah, the tremolo model on my Line 6 MM-4 smokes that one...

Pick up a Sovtek Mig 50 and run it through a 4x10 open back cab with the Jensen reissue anico speakers. It's more Bassman than the Fender reissue.

So are these only for going in front of an amp, or do they put in some speaker emulation as well so you could just plug into a console.

Nope...just in front of the amp.....

Funny though...I'm running it with my Peavy Classic VT series amp...

My brother swears that its no differrent than adjusting the gain on the amp itself......

I pluged into one at Guitar Center going into a Hot Rod Deluxe (of which I have three) and I thought it sounded authentic making the Deluxe break up much better than any stock tone you can get out of it...

                            I might get one...LMAO!

I'd have to have one in my posession where I can really try it cranked...

All of the modeling stuff sounds good at low volume...
