    CAA? Creative Artists Agency?

Interesting... when you go to the ELVH inc page there's a graphic that shows all the corporate affiliations.

Clearly Edward is the kingpin... he's listed as "Managing Member" or "President" in almost all of them except AVH Hldg.

If you search for David Lee Roth in the same database you'll find the Dave was listed a "President" of Van Halen Music LLC which was filed in 1977 but is inactive.

Dave's current LLC's are listed under Diamond Dave Enterprises and were filed in 2008.

Good. I'm going to call and ask how much it would cost to have Dave and John 5 do an acoustic set in my backyard this coming summer.

Michael's listings are interesting... Nothing under Sobolewski. He was a Managing Member of Van Halen Publishing filed in 1977... then another entry called Smerk LLC that was filed in Oct 1985 that is still active.

I had thought Mike wasn't part of the Cabo investment Ed & Al did with Hagar... but there's an inactive LLC called MA Cabo that was filled in March of 1990.

To all of you folks with business savvy, I ask this. Why do these rock stars have a need for multiple Limited Liability Corporations? Me no get.

Mike was invested in the club, just like Ed and Al. And it was a money pit, but ol' Slappy hung on to it because he liked the area and liked the idea of having his own joint to pimp and play in. So the rest of the band bailed on the venture and Slappy was left holding his sack, I mean holding the bag.

Anyway, I figured now was a good time to resurrect this commercial. "It ain't no Van Halen conscience, there ain't no such thing"...truer words have never been spoken...

Interesting. In Sam's book of dirt, he revels in the fact that things picked up after the brothers bailed. He enjoyed how pissed they were. Never did he mention Mike missed out just the same.

Well...come to think of it, I can't remember where I read that Slappy bought Mike's interest in Cabo. I'm sure I read it somewhere but that could just be my worn out brain filling in gaps.
