The players Union head Don Fehr was interviewed yesterday. The Union plans to open their collective bargaining agreement to insert stricter testing policies, to include testing during the off season, with strict penalties on a first offense. The whole thing is unforunate for baseball, especially when your kid(my son is 9), sees it on tv, and you have to try to explain what steroids are, what they do, and why "the future home run king" is in trouble. Also, why his favorite teams(yanks) first baseman(Giambi) is in trouble as well!

Cheated? Sure, pitchers have cheated since day 1 with vaseline, scuffing, etc. Batters have cheated by getting signals, using too much pine tar (if you call that cheating), etc.
