Jones wants Henson to get a shot...

    Parcells LOVES Roma...

    this could get good...

no way Parcells stays another year...after next that is...no way...win or lose...this is it for Bill...

I don't think Parcells has the fire anymore. I'd almost rather he moved on now and let the next coach develop the next qb.
Meet us in the future, not the pasture

They just can't start the season with Vinny as starter, backup only.

Who's going to start? They are already saying that if you get a better line...than Vinny could still be a top QB...

IE...Michael Irvin must be feeding them crack...

WTF is with Henson? He was a "sure thing" both in football and baseball.

Then again I remember the big draft day decision, Peyton Manning or Ryan Leaf, hmmmm....

Who's to say he ISN'T going to be good...

            he only started 1 game...national game...Thanksgiving...

I just don't think Parcells likes him because Jones forced him on him...

Hopefully for Dallas fans Parcells didn't like what he sees from him. This December was the perfect time to give him a chance, and if he benched him out of spite then that just sucks. Maybe he's still learning, who knows. If they aren't going to give him a chance they should trade him or something.

I don't think he benched him out of spite totally...I think Parcells gets frustrated easily...

I also think Parcells has HIS guys...and Vinny is one of them...

which is intriguing to me...because he makes so many late game mistakes that Parcells tends to blame on the line...the defense...the running game...

I don't think Henson is going to start...I don't think Henson is going to get dealt...

                We'll see...

if Henson comes into camp knowing his role...listening to Parcells...being a good little camper...ie...like Simms...he could start quickly...

I don't know...I thought that Dallas would look at a guy like Warner...for a year or two (and Parcells would be the kind of coach who would give him a chance)...and then fall back to Henson...

but I'm obviously wrong in that thinking...

Not sure that Parcells could put up with Warner's whiny Male wife...

I like the Warner/Henson idea. (LOL the wife)

                  True about HIS guys...

It will be interesting. I think Jones would have expected a turnaround by next year....

Jones has been saying he wants to develop a qb...not go out and get one...

funny though...I read somewhere yesterday that Dallas was thinking of using a pick or two to try and entice Tampa to trade Chris Simms...

probably wishful thinking on someone's thought....

but...how about Henson and a pick...for Simms...or maybe even straight up?

That would be interesting. Henson should turn out better than Simms, in my opinion.

I've got a feeling it will be a long time before Dallas gets another QB that is of a calibur equal to Troy Aikman.

Well, Aikman was a great qb...who is often overlooked...

but was a high recruit for Oklahoma...

the a great QB for UCLA after he transferred...

they'll have to do it in a deal...

or bank on Henson...because they won't be going 1-15 anytime soo to get that top pick...

You know...it's funny how often Aikman is overlooked as one of the great QB's...

                            IMO...equal to Bradshaw...not necesarily in stats...but poise...

and took at least as many concussions as the blonde bomber...and actually kept some of his brains...

I hate Aikman...but he should get his props for 3 Super Bowls...

I think Vinny being there is Bill saying to Jerry all or nothing..
Bill will leave Dallas no matter the outcome of next year.
I agree he should leave, hes holding the future for 2+
years, look at Julius Jones? Eddie George isnt the man for
a couple yrs but Bill kept playing him.
