That sounds just great , if this were a movie or some shit, but this was the fucking Superbowl!
First, they give Pittsburgh the TD when he was not in. Now way that call should be made if he didn't see him in...and he didn't! Not until after he was down...we all saw it.
Then they fail to call offside and instead give a holding call against Seattle to take them away from a first and goal at the 2.
And one more call, a 15 yard mystery blocking below the knees penalty to Hasselbeck when he was making a tackle, for fucks sakes (probably the worst of the lot) after the INT.
Tell me that didn't help that fateful drive.
No, too many mistakes against one team in a Superbowl...you can't convince me otherwise.
I know the NFL was jonesing for a marquee matchup, but I guess their hype-machine will settle for a "Bettis returns home and triumphs" headline.
