I was at the game last night vs. the O's with my son....
I swear half of the crowd of over 47,000 had to be Yankees fans...
I think the Yankees have great fans, but here's my point....
Half of the Yankeee fans you see are the atypical, slickbacked hair, Italian horn on the necklace, etc..... OK, that's understandable...
But the "fans" that piss me off are the ones that are OBVIOUSLY fair-weathered fans from fucking Idaho, or some other far away land....
Good game, O's came back from 4-1 to win it in the 10th, 5-4...

The Yanks won't even make the playoffs.
They cn pull as many trades as they want, but none will be as good as the deal that the Sox are getting:

Padres trade May, Redding for Quantrill
The San Diego Padres made a pre-emptive strike to address some bullpen needs by acquiring New York Yankees reliever Paul Quantrill in exchange for struggling pitchers Darrell May and Tim Redding, two San Diego-area papers reported.
Quantrill, who was designated for assignment on Thursday, is expected to be activated upon his arrival on Sunday. Quantrill was 1-0 with a 6.75 ERA in 22 games with the Yankees.
May, a left-hander, was 1-3 with a 6.69 ERA in eight starts for the Padres this season. Redding was 0-5 with an 8.94 ERA in six starts. Both will report to the Yankees' Triple-A club in Columbus, Ohio.
The Padres will also send an unspecified amount of cash in the trade. Quantrill is making $3 million this season plus a $400,000 buyout on an option for next year. May is making $3.2 million, Redding $750,000.
