    The Kentucky Derby

Steiney's horse is the favorite...haven't really paid any bit of attention to it other than that...

anyone going to watch it?...or is this a non-event...

only thing I remember about last year was Smarty Jones...and his owner almost dying at the KDerb...

    talk it up...

    lmfao...

I may have the only post in this thread...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."

                  Yep.

ESPN radio said if his horse doesn't win today Stottlemeyer would get fired.

If he doesn't win the Preakness, Cashman is gone.

A Belmont loss would be the end of Torre.

I think Cashman will be fired in 2 weeks if they don't play at .500 or better.

That Cashman looks like a little weasel.

Reminds me of George Costanza for some reason.

Cashman's job description---yes George, right away George, absolutely George.

Funny thing is, that exactly what George wants, and when he's fired George will want to replace him with another puppet.
