    The end of the season should be very exciting. The one thing I think that Selig did right was the division realignment & wild card. It really makes the last month of the season exciting.

    If not for realignment, the race would be:
    AL East: Red Sox up by a few over Yanks & Indians
    AL West: WHite Sox up by 6 1/2 ove Angels & A's
    NL East: St Louie 12 games over Philly
    NL West: Atl 5 games over Houston
    Basically, 3 of the divisions would have been decidied by now (if not a month ago) and there would only be a race in 1 division

      I agree with realignment...it's funny...all the talk of how crappy the money deal is in baseball...but every year there are at least half the MLB teams in it until the end of the year...
