Denver's defense was #3 last season, and many are predicting a solid Arizona defense. Much improved last year, and should make a similar jump this season under Denny Green.
Parker was sat out the final pre-season game while Haynes was not, and Cowher has stated that they have to get the ball in this guys hands somehow. Going with the gamble that I believe in today's salary cap NFL, Staley has been nothing but expensive and hurt, the Bus is in his final year, and parker will be their #1 guy, awith some gamebreaking ability like they haven't had in a while. Droughns was traded for, and is the best blocker of the bunch. In Crennel's world, that means playing time.
The receivers, granted, all on the same team, but for a KEEPER league, all talented enough to take a shot on. Even if you can't play them all, they make good trade bait. All camp reports say McCardell looks like someone in his early 20's, and who else does Brees have besides Gates. Franks is obviously a bonafide red zone threat, and this being a head to head league, TD's loom larger than just a points deal.
McNair is tough, but now has offensive guru Norm Chow from USC, which should boost his value some, and will only be playing if C-Pep goes down.
Originally posted by DlocRoth Yeah, my draft was a complete disaster...
Not being prepared and having back to back picks with nearly 2 rounds inbetween killed me....
See, thats where i got confused too..
always thought shit my pick
better be good, i got a round & a half
to go..
BTW remember the trades were in there too for the rounds
some traded
I don't know. Isn't he coming off a serious knee from last season?
And like I posted before, McCardell being a veteran and in excellent shape, and in SD for a full season this year, I'm betting he has a bigger year. He's proven, Caldwell isn't IMO.
