We have a much better manager now, half the team is playing in the top English league and we just beat the Czechs in a friendly a few weeks ago so we should at least make the playoffs. One fuckup like an away draw against Lithuania and it could all be over though.

The thing that pissed me off about the draw is being in one of the smaller groups means I miss a couple of nights watching Scotland in the pub...

The way the games are scheduled we play some games in September then take a year off and then play the rest of the games the following September/October!!??

A European team has never won outwith Europe.

If you are going to bet the best option is to bet against an England win. English people bet far more money on sports per capita than any other European country which always artificially lowers the odds of an England win.
