The sending off of Cahill seemed harsh, yellow card surely.
I think I saw Germany quoted at 14-1 to win the WC. Looks like a good bet.Comment

Wish we could say we played beautiful...unfortunately our attacking tactics were uninspired and our defence was horribly exposed at times. After the red card on Cahill then we just simply plummeted into disarray. Embarrassing...but hey I'm just glad we didn't concede any further goals, and even a draw against a powerhouse like Germany would've been a magnificent achievement in itself. Anyway I think a loss like this is a good thing for us...Comment

The one I'm looking forward to is the England fans v the South African police.
The Engllish fans have a strong attack, are good at improvising weapons and are at their most dangerous abroad whereas the South African police are heavily armed and don't have to worry about due process.
I've seen odds where the police are 5-4 on...Comment

Must be weird for you, I think the Dutch played for the draw but won by accident.
The tradition is Holland to come into a tournament with a talented but ill-disciplined squad, struggle to a draw in their opening game, fight amongst themselves, finish second in their group, hit form in the last 16 and then lose on penalties in the quarter-finals.Comment

I can't remember a World Cup with so many mediocre teams.
Europe needs to get more qualifying places.Comment
