We've been out of the top league for a while.

You'll remember that feeling. At this level the only consolation is that every 5 or 10 years you get to win something even if it is only promotion.

It's actually a lot more fun being near the top of the 2nd league than near the bottom of the top one.

Yeah that way we can get up to second bottom of the group.

It just gets worse and worse each time, only kids in their 20s are old enough to remember us qualifying for something. When I grew up when we qualified for 5 world cups in a row.

I blame Gorbachev and video games in that order.

It bugs me even more not beating Serbia, a country whose key fucking ability over the last 70 years is being good at making innocent people dig the trench that they then land in after being shot in the back of the head.
