They surely were, at least they looked like they were.

The Blue were a little unlucky, and particularly unefficient before the Portuguese goalkeeper.

They thought they had won the competition after beating the Germans - which isn't wrong in a way - but that final was a real trap. They both fell into it and weren't sharp enough anymore for that match, except Cissokho who was very strong.

Once again the ref' was the weak link on the ground. Refereeing was really, really poor as far as what I could see.

I thought the ref was ok , he let the game go for the most part and didn't get to involved in a lot of the players amateur dramatics.

Sissoko ...... I am cunflicted, the lazy shit bag clueless mutherfuker had his one good game ever which I hated but every good move involved his price tag going up so I love him , hate him, love .... Etc etc

I have very low expectation from football , I am of an age were I am to young to see England win everything and as a Geordie my team haven't won anything in the last 50 years.
I wouldn't know what to do if my club won something , probably take badly to the missed opportunity of complaining
