Four years ago, at Japan and South Korea, most of the games here were about 8 in the morning.

I was at work through most of them.

Mate, it's the best feeling! Even when we still watch the qualifier match (me and Bomber went to the game together) when John Aliosi slotted the ball into the net during the shootouts, that feeling never gets old, mate. It's like a continuing orgasm.

I'll be heading out to the city on Monday night wearing a Socceroos jersey and draped in the Union Jack and Southern Cross when we take on Japan. That match is crucial for us! I'm hoping we get to the second round and just take it from there. From what Guus is telling us, we're still got heaps of work to do to prove ourselves.

To be honest mate, I haven't seen the full impact yet...not until Monday. I'll be chucking a sickie the next day.
