I still have 8 teams alive going into the Sweet 16, and only lost one of my Final Four.
I really thought Arizona would go the distance. They were in it until the end though.
Of course this is coming from an admittedly "fair weather" basketball fan. I usually don't follow either college or pro until the playoffs.
Not so much the game itself as it is the schedule. With football, you got one game a week. Saturday fro college and Sunday for NFL. Basketball and baseball have half their shit on in the middle of the week. Who's got the time.
So I become a hoops fan in March and a baseball fan in September..... And even then if only teams I give a shit about are involved. At least this time, the Dawgs, AZ Wildcats, and Gonzaga are teams I would root for anyway.Eat Us And Smile
