The Race for the Conn Smythe

    In no particular order...

Cory Stillman--Carolina--19 points so far...and 3 game winners. Won the Cup with the Lightning in 2004.

    Fernando Pisani--Edmonton--9 goals...and 3 game winners.

Eric Staal--Carolina--Playoff scoring leader with 20 points. 5 goals and 7 assists on the power play. 15 consecutive games with a score...3 short of the all time record.

Shawn Horcuff--Edmonton--17 points, and 2 game winners.

Cam Ward--Carolina--11 victories, and a 2.07 goals against...has won more than a few for Carolina in these playoffs.

Chris Pronger--Edmonton--17 points...tops for defenseman, over 30 minutes of ice time...wow...the playoff leader of this team.

Rob Brind'Amour--Carolina--9 goals, 3 game winners, 6 on the power play. The heart and soul of the hurricanes.

Dwayne Roloson--.931 Save percentage, and 2.22 goals against.

Who's your pick...or is there someone else?
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."

For me it's Pronger for Edmonton, even though Roloson has played well.

Pronger played shity this year, having trouble adjusting to the new rules, it seemed.

This looks like the Pronger I feared when Edmonton signed him. No one is getting past him and he is a force on the point on the PP.

They aren't here at all without him.

Carolina...I like Staal, but I don't think they are here without Brind'amour.
One last run for him in Carolina and off to greener pastures (it rains more here)

If Carolina wins, Staal. If it's Edmonton, Roloson. (Not necessarily what I think either, but what I think will happen.)
