Don't go there Yankee fan. Let's talk about Yankee attendance when they Yanks sucked dick in the early 90's and parts of the 80's. Front running fans....let's see them draw 3.6 million and finish in last place like the Dodgers have.

Well the dodgers are in the playoffs. Wouldn't lay odds on them winning the WS though. They're tied with the Padres, if SD wins today, they're the division champs since they won the season series. I'll take your word for it that the Dodgers drew 3.6 million fans one season when the ended in last place. That is something to be proud of.
Maybe there was nothing else to do that year in Cali. Beats the shit out of me.
We cherish and love our Yankees and when they were going bad then people were perturbed because there were bad baseball decisions be made. Steinbrenner was in hot water with MLB, etc. etc.
Can't explain that past totally and expect you to grasp it all dude. The Yanks have drawn 4 million two years in a row. And, if it wasn't for the "expansion" Colorado Rockies playing in a football stadium holding 70,000 - 80,000 the Yanks would have the MLB record not just the AL record.Comment
