PS...when Gordon was winning all those races...rumor has it he had a guy running his team who half knew what he was doing. I concur that Gordon is a great driver...homo yes...but a great driver...and Evernham was a master running that team...

God bless Loomis and all of his personal problems, I know the guy is going through some shit...but he shoulda stepped out while all of this was going on...

when he said on National Television, that he screwed up the race...made bad choices because his head wasn't in the race...he should have stepped down for the time being right then...whether Gordon's telling him to stay or not...

With a good race team...Gordon would be back on top (not in the gay way...we'll save that for morning television)...unfortunately...the rainbow warriors are history, and Gordon's great driving keeps him in the top five...just not at the top...

and that's the way it is sports fans...from one redneck to another...

Gay or not, Gordon's biggest problem right now is Loomis. He's incompetant(sp), and someone should stand behind him with a cast iron frying pan to knock some sense into him when he makes those idiotic calls. He should be working closer with Knaus, who is obviously a much wiser leader.

Loomis is around simply because he's pulling the sympathy cord...after blowing that race at Lowe's Motor Speedway...with a car in Gordon's stable winning the race...and being so dominant...

while Gordon looked like he was torking around in an '89 Yugo...

The #24 crew, in the pits and in the garage, are useless without someone to tell them what to do next. Unfortunately their only choice is Loomis, who is a Doofus. Gordon needs to find a Crew Chief that understands him, the car, and the track and conditions as well as Evernham did. I've never denied the fact that Jeff wouldn't have been as successful as he was without him. On the other side of the coin, you have to admit that Ray's success has diminished without a driver as talented as Jeff. Separately, they are both doing good, but together..they made a team that was almost unbeatable.

I agree to a point about Evernham...but I think he's taken all his teams to a level they never would have achieved without him...Dodge right...

The guy has put them on the map at least...and they make some challenges...win some races...

If he'd focus on one team...I'd be willing to bet that team would be right at the top...
