Khan v Garcia .. July 14 .... Ain't seen any Garcia ,know he is a young up and coming fighter ... Have I been missing much ?

One thing that Garcia has going for him that many of Khan's opponets don't is that he's hungry.....

I have done some digging around and am actualy a little confused about Khan and Garcia.From what i understand before this fight was even thought of Garcia was obligated to face mandatory challenger Ajose Olusegun,Something to do with a shot at Morales.This was scrapped for some reason and Garcia got to fight Morales without fighting Olusegun.The WBC then seem to have promised Ajose a title shot and set up a purse bid or something like that.Basically Garcia had a mandatory fight with Ajose,The only way round the mandatory fight would ave been if Ajose agreed to fight the winner of Khan - Garcia.He did not agree to this.

Looks like there are some shady going's on behind this fight

It's quite simple really: Garcia was going to make more facing Morales over Oulsegun (sp), so he did; he's now going to make more facing Khan than the guy whose name I can't spell, so he will.

I will say this - the guy whose name I can't spell is a damn tough nights work for anybody. He's in the 'who needs him' club.

I was in the pub last night doing research for sat night and a clip from Garcia beating morales come on ... Shit he is young ... Hope he is on the under card cos he cant stay up that late to be the main event

He struggled with an old, and bloated, Morales, too.

Garcia is tough; he's hungry; and he has some pop. Just like Maidana, he could give Khan a good fight.

I just don't see him winning.

Hey binnie , am looking forward to sat night .. I watched a lot of bute on you tube , wasn't to sure of the quality of the opponents but he was putting them down none the less , a couple he stopped with blows to the body ... He looks a right hand full for Froch

He is a handful for anyone (although I'd kick his arse, of course )

Froch's a hard bastard though, it could be a classic.

Technically Bute is much better he will take advantage of every openings in Froch defense...Froch is a real TOUGH guy nonetheless.....in the end I still favor Bute in 10 round or even before.....
