I imagine when the news of Pac's loss was relayed to him, he was like "LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!"

Arum has quite the sh*tty reputation, that's for sure... but watching that fight ( rounds 9 and 12 had already been pulled on that link I posted, so I will watch it again on HBO this weekend), I'm more inclined to agree with Roger Mayweather's assessment that Manny "wouldn't last 5 rounds with my nephew".

The controversy certainly drums up interest though, doesn't it? This is the busiest this thread has been for a while, just saying.

I have little doubt that Floyd beats Pacman. But 'destroys' or 'embarrases', I'm not so sure. Pacman's high workrate keeps him in it no matter what.

Personally, I think Floyd lands straight rights and makes Pacman miss and keeps him off balance. Rounds 1-4 are close, but after that it's Money May all day and all night - so long as he stays away from that left hand!

I'm actually keen to see Pacman-Bradley II, to be honest.

Here's why I think it won't even be close...

You can say Pac took care of Hatton sooner, or whatever, but for my money (and you've agreed) JMM's beat Manny 3x - and Floyd embarassed HIM. Stands to reason he'd do the same if not worse to Manny, as JMM's defense is better...

I'd agree the 1st few rounds might be interesting, but as soon as Floyd adjusted - and adjust he WOULD - Manny's night starts getting reeeeeally rough.

I see the logic, but styles make fights.

Yes, Floyd is a better counter puncher than JMM - but JMM is a come forward fighter prepared to trade with Manny and not let him have it all his own way. Floyd doesn't fight like that - languishing on the ropes would allow Manny to look like he's in the fight: he'd be missing a lot of punches, but it would look like he was in it, and sometimes that steels rounds.

Personally, I'd love to see a Floyd masterclass - but Manny is a class act too.

The guy we're forgetting about here is Amir Khan. I can see a scenario where he moves up to 147 to take on Bradley - that's a great fighter.

Personally, I think a lot of guys at 147 - guys like Ortiz and Berto are too big and strong for Bradley, and that although he's a warrior Tim's time at the top will be shortlived.

Totally agree Khan would likely obliterate Bradley...Ortiz would probably knock him the F out, too...(possibly NOT via a headbutt, too ). Yeah, I don't see his championship lasting long either.

Gotta give Bradley points for heart AND/OR stupidity for continuing on with a fractured foot AND a twisted ankle...he definitely wanted it more than Pacman, he just didn't have what it took to decisively beat him (much like Pac that night).

I have said before and will say again I think Floyd out boxes Manny every time. But i agree with Binnie in that to say he would destroy him is not giving Pacquiao enough credit. There would be points throughout the fight where Manny's whirlwind style and unorthodox angles would catch Floyd and steal rounds. The problem is Manny has become complacent.I have read so many time's Pacquiao could have knocked Bradley out,If he could have knocked him out he should have. The problem is Manny has become complacent. If Manny were to focus again i am sure he could atleast be a tough night's work for Floyd
