I just find it sad that so many boxers end up broke.For a decorated champion to have to watch their career be sold and sent off around the world is very sad.Holyfield may be an ass out of the ring but I do feel for the guy

Don't feel TOO bad for him, he still lives in his 865 room house, even though the band has foreclosed on it and he's not paying for it. The property has become kind of a symbol of gaudy excess locally (my mom lived a couple of miles away, I drove by it every time I visited her) nobody wants to buy it and the bank doesn't want it to stand empty.

It's funny how many boxers who still have money after their fighting days are ones that got into promoting after they hung up the gloves. Sugar Ray Leonard and De Lahoya come to mind. Fighters that are just good at watching their money and investing it come few and far in between. Marvin Hagler and Larry Holmes were good at that. Not having a huge enterouge helps. Floyd had better watch himself of he could end up on the short end of things. Getting into promotion may help him avoid this.

It's a case of not knowing how to manage your money, or hiring the wrong people to do it. Add into that spending WAY too much money and you have a problem.

Holyfield needs to retire, as does Roy JJ, Bowe, and many others I can think of.....

Its a tough question because there are a couple of randoms been thrown in the mix/saga.

1. Has floyd changed after going to jail ...changed his priorities etc
2. Has Paq's defeat changed the dynamic's in the division.

I'd love to see Floyd beat the sh*t out of Pac-fraud too, but after a couple of months off (apparently he wasn't even really exercising in his cell), think he might need a tune-up fight first?

The idea that Floyd wasn't exercising is BS. At the beginning of his sentence they tried to pull the 'health' issue of his not eating properly/being able to exercise meaning that house arrest would be more fitting. It didn't work.

Floyd was keeping in shape just fine - recent reports have suggested that he was looking pretty ripped due to push ups etc.....
