I hope Alexander wins - he has decent power and fast hands, which is a nightmare for Khan. My gut tells me that Amir will box well and in a controlled manner, however to a points victory.

Khan looked good: very composed and stuck to the game-plan. Waaaay too fast for Devon.

Looks like Mayweather-Pacquiao is as close to happening as it's ever been, with Floyd calling Manny out.

Paqfraud will get beaten silly. The only reason I want this fight to happen anymore is to bring a reality check to all the delusional paqfans.

It's still and intriguing fight. I suspect Mayweather will come out on top, even though they're both past their best.

I used to think Floyd would win be a wide margin, but the Maidanna fights made me re-think. Like Pacquiao, Maidanns throws unconventional punches and Floyd's defence wasn't quite as solid against them for that reason. It would be an ugly fight, I think.

Anyone intrigued by Stiverne-Wilder on January 17th? A heavyweight fight I'm interested in.....

It's good match up , wilders first test as Stiverne can still punch .

I think the key is Stiverne's counter-punching - he might be able to catch Wilder and exploit errors in his defence. Or, he might get sparked like everyone else Wilder touches

The fantasy ATG heavweight tournament continues.

                            Semi-final 1: Tyson-Lewis.

The real fight means shit here - in 2002 Tyson was shot to shit. It's true that even in his prime, however, he would have been up against it in Lewis, giving away massive amounts of weight, reach and height. Tyson comes out fast and Lewis looks startled: he can't hold Tyson off and he goes down from a right cross after two minutes. When he gets to his feet, Tyson is on him again and it looks like Lewis might not get out of the round - only holding and spoiling tactics allow him too. In round two, Tyson is on him again. Lewis has his moments, landing a peach on an overhand right which Tyson shakes off. The smaller man continues to bob and weave and unload with 4 and 5 shot combos, putting Lewis down again at the end of the round. Lewis tries to get his jab going in round 3 and 4, and he begins to look more comfortable, despite losing the rounds. In round 5, the tide finally looks to be changing, with Lewis frustrating Tyson's assualts behind his jab. As he pulls back from one assault and circles to his left, however, Tyson catches him flush with a peach of a right hook. And that is all she wrote.

                            Result: Tyson KO 5.

                              Semi-final 2: Holmes-Louis.

Holmes is used to out-boxing everyone he faces, but Louis has other ideas. Joe's fast hands and combinations frustrate Larry, who is shipping a lot of punishment and taking 4 to land 2. By the sixth Larry is way behind, and Louis just keeps coming, using his superior speed to punish Holmes for round after round. It could have been stopped any time after the 9th, but Holmes's valient efforts and whip-crack jab keep him in it. Rocked repeatedly thoughout the fight, he says in the post fight interview that Louis's power surprised him.

                              Result: Louis UD 12.

Deontay Wilder is now a heavyweight champion. He beat Stiverne via UD.
