Smarty Jones and the Triple Crown

I know this isn't going to get high discussion...

but I've always followed the triple crown...since I was a kid...

I remember sitting with my dad...watching Seattle Slew win the trip way back when...77 or 78...

and this horse caught my attention because he was the first horse to win the Kentucky Derby while going undefeated since Slew...

then he motored to a 10 length win in the last race...

    now for the triple...

will he win...and does anyone care?

well..if you watched the preakness, he won easily..pulled away...distance is no problem...but,who knows..i wouldnt bet on him..odds are terrible..not worth a risk to gain nothing...i hope he pulls it off though..

He was 2-5 last I looked...which was days ago...

but...I'm not really into betting the horses...

just think it would be a good thing...well...that's even overstating it...

an interesting thing to see this horse win the trip...

      it's the antithesis of a winning horse...small...

but just badass on the track...hope he wins...

This race is substantially longer than the Preakness and the Derby...

Alright...they are walking up to the gate for the Belmont...and of course...a commercial...I think Reagan's death pushed back the time 10 minutes...it was supposed to start at 6:38...

          Birdstone wins the Belmont Stakes...

it looks like he had it going down the back stretch...but Birdstone just busted him...

          damn it...

                Yeah...oh well...until next year...

I was kinda hoping they'd show that dude on the respirator almost pass out again...

                alas...NBC found some judgement...damn it...

He couldn't talk after the race though...had to have his wife speak for him...hmmmm...kind of like most of us married fucks...
