    Oden out for the year

    just heard Greg Oden is out for the year with a microfracture of his right knee...christ, people in portland must be jumping off bridges...unreal!!

    Just like our Bears and mike brown/dusty dvoreck two fuckin years straight!!! And they were both KICKIN ASS Sun.!! Unreal!! Portland "to the future" and theirs is bright!!

        i feel real bad about Mike Brown...he makes plays and then get hurt...great player when healthy..which isnt much these days..

              Well, it does suck...but on the plus side, he's young and he should, by all indications, be at 100% within six to eight months, so I'm not that in a tizzy about it. Portland's still got a pretty good team this year, and this gives the front office and Oden a little more time to get the plan of attack for him next year in gel.

              Who knows? It may even have the side effect of a good starter slot in next years draft, which is all for the better anyway...

              It sucks, yeah, but...we've sucked worse...

                i dont know about 100% all the players who have had the surgery have said they were never able to get back to the way it was before....that being said, they should be in a good position for next years draft as well...
