I found a Babe Ruth card hidden in my grandfather's storage.

it's from 1927... and it has his picture on the front and a news article on the back about him hitting 60 homeruns... does anyone have an idea how much it is worth? I also got a bunch of other baseball cards that look old as shit... my grandfather collected a shotload of cards from the 20's 30's and 40's.

This is excellent advice WARF.

Also, and it may sound lame, but be sure to handle those cards by the edges only and get them in to some hard plastic snap tight or screw down card holders.

After checking Beckett magazine (usually on sale at hobby shops and card stores), do some research on where you can have these cards (the most valuable ones) graded.

Anyone serious about purchasing them will require it.
