The best plays to stop a blitz happy defense are quick slants and screens. I don't believe Garrett's offense has any. The NFC East teams like to blitz, so it's stupid not to have those plays in your playbook.

The cowboys need discipline. Just look at the penalties all year, it is appauling. Phillips is not the kind of coach that can handle the types of players on the team.

He takes the freakin blame for penalties. No wonder players like to play for him. I like him as a human being, just not as a head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. The dude is waaay too nice to be a head coach.

You're not telling us anything we didn't already know! The egotistical owner is what's wrong with the Cowboys. He needs to swallow his pride and hire a GM to make personel decisions. But you know that'll never happen.
