There's a book called "How to Break 90" by T.J. Tomasi.
I'll save ya the 20 bucks by summarizing.

          * Strive to play bogey golf.
          * Keep track of your putts. It's hard to break 90
if you're stabbing at it more than 36 times.

I had a tough time keeping my emotions in check
first tine I stood on 18th green knowing I could four-putt
from 30 feet and still break 90 my first time. Then again, I
lose it every time I see Christopher Reeve look at the penny...

I downloaded app.." swing by swing" ...damn decent..keeps up with putts and much more..I had 44 putts..need to learn to 2 putt every green,,that would have saved 8 shots right there..played with the same ball ALL DAY..but yeah,,I always say 5 is a good score..except the par 3s..11 bogeys..3 pars..and 4 doubles today..no triples

Got 36 set up for the weekend. 18 with some old
friends I don't get to hang with much anymore.
These guys bet on EVERYTHING. Not only do these
guys wanna go a Buck a putt on total putts, it also costs
a buck if you three-putt. We literally need an extra
scorecard to keep track of all the skins, closest to on the threes,
                and side action.

The other 18 is with the usual bunch of club-throwing
                insufferable pricks I play with.

Talked my 78 year old Dad into driving the cart for me next weekend. He's never been on a golf course. He asked me if they
let you drink beer out there on the course. My buddy's bringing his Dad out too. This is gonna be classic!

ESPN still carrying 1st and 2nd round coverage?
Please leave Chris Berman out of your golf telecasts.
Love the guy doing NFL pregame, but his schtick doesn't
                        belong in Golf.

The USGA has Olympic Club tricked out pretty good.
                          Because -28 shouldn't win you a major.

Man, Chris Berman gets more annoying by the minute. What he knows about the sport could fit in a thimble, leaving enough room for the Chinese Army.

Agreed, he and Brent Musberger have made careers out of it.

Toward the end of yesterday's broadcast Berman asked "Is the golf course really this hard?" Fuck no asshole, professional golfers from all over the world picked this weekend to get together and make all of us duffers out there feel better about ourselves. Dumbest statement of the US Open so far.
