See, my whole outlook is this - belts are swapping hands too fast and too frequently. I can skip watching WWE for a month or two, and by the time I turn back in, there's a whole new roster of champions on almost each belt.

If WWE were to go back to giving some REAL title reigns of any sort of reasonable length (6-10 month length), I think it'd help the storylines quite a lot. I'm certainly not talking a Hulk Hogan-ish 4 year stretch by any means, but...when the belts seem to be swapping owners every other week, it doesn't do a lot to add to the perceived value of said title(s)...it just makes it look like anybody can win it at any time, and the champions, while they should be viewed as the elite of the business, look like your average vagrant community renters...here today and gone tomorrow.

At this point, to me, Flair doesn't make a convincing I-C champion for two reasons:

1. A umpteen time world champion getting an I-C title? An umpteen time world champion, to my mind, would/should only be concerned with the world title, period.

2. His age. The only real reason to make him I-C champ is to have him put somebody over, as there's not a lot of room left for writing storylines around his character...unless he's recently convinced himself he's Hulk Hogan or Shawn Michaels and doesn't need to put new talent over. With Flair, I seriously doubt that's the case, and I'm sure he'll be happy as shit to put new talent over (and into an I-C reign position), but it's still a grey area and looks kinda fishy on paper.

My opinion only, of course...

Moreover, one of two things needs to happen for John Cena:

Either

01. He needs to drop the belt, as quickly as possible and get somebody remotely interesting/loved/hated in there, rather than someone who the majority of WWE fans over the age of 15 couldn't give a shit about, or

02. He needs to drop the whole fucking "Wigger" act and get a new angle, because it's fucking gay and makes WWE look stupid.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Okay, I can see a HHH-Flair feud, but not over the IC Title.
