    Official VH/Roth videos & MTV interviews/footgage

I'm currently in search of any/all classic VH/Roth official videos and any/all classic VH/Roth MTV interviews/footage on VHS (NTSC format) that hasn't been commercially released.
I've briefly perused various VH Link/Boots/Trading sites and it seems that there's a lack of alot of this footage available for trade or sale.
I've got alot of stuff already, but I'm always looking for better quality versions of the following:

    1) Eruption (1978 promo intro)
    2) You Really Got Me (1978 promo)
    3) Runnin' With The Devil (1978 promo)
    4) Jamie's Cryin' (1978 promo)
    5) Dance The Night Away (1979 live promo including "logo/Hello" intro)
    6) You're No Good (1979 live promo)
    7) Bottoms Up (1979 live promo)
    8) And The Cradle Will Rock (1980 "Pop Rock" German TV lip sync)
    9) Hear About It Later (1981 live promo)
    10) So This Is Love? (1981 live promo)
    11) Unchained (1981 live promo)
    12) Pretty Woman (1982 video)
    13) Runnin' With The Devil (1983 live US Fest edited version)
    14) Pretty Woman (1983 live US Fest edited version)
    15) You Really Got Me (1983 live US Fest edited version)
    16) Happy Trails (1983 live Us Fest edited version)
    17) You Really Got Me (reprise, 1983 live US Fest edited version)
    18) Jump (1984 commercially released official video)
    19) Panama (1984 commercially released official video)
    20) Hot For Teacher (1984 commercially released official video)
    21) California Girls (1985 commercially released official video)
    22) Just A Gigolo (1985 commercially released official video)
    23) Yankee Rose (1986 commercially released official video)
    22) Eat 'Em And Smile (1986 MTV documentary)
    23) Goin' Crazy (1986 commercially released official video)
    24) Loco Del Calor (1986 official video of Goin' Crazy (song, not video,
    in Spanish)
    25) That's Life (1986 official video)
    26) Just like Paradise (1988 official video)
    27) Stand Up (1988 official video)
    28) A Lil' Ain't Enough (1991 official video)
    29) Sensible Shoes (1991 official video)
    30) Tell The Truth (1991 official video)
    31) She's My Machine (1994 official video)
    32) Van Halen Video Timeline (1998 VH1 documentary)
    33) "Diamond Dave's No Holds Bar-B-Que!" (2002 offical video)
    34) The Sam & Dave Show: Life After Van Halen (2004 VH1
    documentary)
I know this is a long list/post, but I wanted to let those who are interested know some of the best of what I've got. I have other stuff too, but I can let you know what I've got if you're interested in trading or selling anything else I might be looking for.
What am I looking for? ANYTHING you see that's not listed here or better versions of what I've got already.
I'm very new to this trading/post/thread thing so if I've violated any protocols I'm apologizing in advance.
I personally don't see a Roth/VH reunion ANY time soon so my best way to enjoy what may never be is to watch my personally compiled/edited VH/Roth video history/tape/documentary.
What have you got that I don't? What have I got that you don't? Let me know! Speak up, Roth Army, I'm listening.
Thank you so much for reading my post and I hope that we can mutually expand our personal video collections of VH (c. 1979-1984) & DLR!
    Thanks Roth Army!!!

Thank you so much, Cato, for replying to my thread so soon.
Crystal clear quality? WOW, you don't know how much I'd love to have a vhs video copy of each of them!
I don't know how much better the quality of what I've got might be better than what you've got and vice versa, but I'd like to find out!
The copy of "A Lil' Ain't Enough" video I have truly sucks and I'd love to find a better quality copy.
I don't have a copy of "Nightlife" on video at all. I didn't even know that there was a video of this song until today, thanks to the RothArmy sreaming video downloads section, which I check every now and then. I kept a copy of it on my computer, but I'm really looking for it on video.
The Van Halen Video Timeline documentary is a piece that I may not have a good copy of, but you're more than welcome to the copy I do have.
Other stuff I'm looking for is any/every CVH MTV video interview/documentary footage:
      1) MTV's Lost Weekend with Van Halen commercial, anouncement of winner, interview, etc. footage
      2) DLR "interviews" conducted by Martha Quinn, poolside and all of the promo "interviews" Roth didi to promote the Crazy From The Heat EP.
      3) A better quality version of the Eat 'Em and Smile MTV documentary
      4) The MTV documentary that promoted the Skyscraper album: I don't recall the name of it.

I also have an uncut, unedited & uncensored version of VH at the US Fest (VERY different from the edited versions of the more common footage available and shown on cable years ago), a copy of VH from the 1984 tour from Montreal and VH from the Diver Down tour in Largo, Maryland, I believe. You probably have these already.
I'll sort through whatever else I might have copies of and don't really watch of want to keep.
What I'll do for you is make copies of EVERYTHING I've got for you. Who knows what I might have that you may not?
I'd really like to be able to work out some sort of trade with you for what you've got or with any other VH fan that's reading this thread.
I don't think that Dave, VH, Warner Bros., MTV or whoever owns the rights will release ANY of this classic historic footage ANY time soon so let's make our own damn videos shall we?
I know lots of collectors have tons of stuff on other formats, but I'm not that far technically advanced quite yet so I am specifically looking for VHS NTSC format only.
Once again, thanks for posting on this thread and I look foward to future threads.
      Happy CVH/Roth video trading!!!

          Hey Cato,
I just got finished looking through all of my other tapes, a tedious task to say the least, and here's what else I've got:
          1) YES, I have the entire US Fest! It's about 2 hours long (if you count tne time in between encores). I had to reedit the ending because the fool who I got the copy from deceiced to NOT include the reprise of You Really Got Me after Happy Trails because of the length of the actual concert/tape. I've also edited out the time between encores to accommodate for the length of the concert/tape. Believe me, you can't tell the difference.
          2) DLR 1982 "white trucker's hat/sunglasses" interview (w/German
          sobtitles)
          3) Unchained & Hear About It Later lip sync (1981 French TV)
          4) Unchained & Hear About It Later videos w/VH gallivanting through
Amsterdam (1981 Holland TV/Van Halens speaking Dutch!)
          5) DLR hosting Friday Night Videos 1984/incomplete)
          6) Pretty Woman lip sync (1982 RAI Italian TV)
          7) DLR interview w/David Letterman (1985 NBC TV)
          8) You Really Got Me lip sync & interview (1977 Japanese TV)
          9) You Really Got Me lip sync (1980 Pop Rock German TV)
          10) Hot For Teacher live (1984 Donington Castle Monsters of Rock
UK)-Rough footage, but historically significant; one of CVH's last
          shows.
          11) Loss of Control lip sync (1980 French TV [?])-REAL rough footage,
          but interesting.
          12) Fair Warning Tour! (1981 Chicago incomplete rough 8mm footage:
Sinner's Swing, In a Simple Rhyme, Hear About It Later, So This Is
Love?, bass solo, drum solo, Runnin' With The Devil, Dance The
Night Away, Ice Cream Man & Mean Street)
          13) DLR interview (1986 Cover Story including live footage from Eat 'Em
          And Smile tour)
          14) Mean Street lip sync (1981 RAI Italian TV)
          15) California Girls, Yankee Rose & Goin' Crazy (Spanish) lip sync &
interview (1986 Mexican TV/Dave solo without band and speaking
          fluent Spanish!)
          16) Van Halen II Tour! (1979 Boston/Fresno incomplete 8mm footage:
Runnin' With The Devil, Dance The Night Away, Beautiful Girls, On
Fire, You're No Good, Feel Your Love Tonight, Ain't Talkin' 'Bout
Love, You Really Got Me & On Fire, Feel Your LOve Tonight, Ain't
Talikn' 'Bout Love/drum solo/Ain't Talkin' 'Bout love (reprise),
Spanish Fly/guitar solo, D.O.A., You Really Got Me, Bottoms Up,
          Atomic Punk)
          17) UNCENSORED DLR MTV Mark Goodman US Fest interview (1983,
below average video quality & very good sound quality)
          18) MTV Video Awards appearance & Kurt Loeder interview (1996 DLR
          reunion fiasco)
          19) MTV Week in Rock Ed & Al interview (see above)
20 ) VH1 Van Halen Video Timeline (1998 very historical videography
retrospective, includes everything up to VH III; one of my
          favorites)

Well, that's it. Let me know ASAP what you'd like to have a copy of and I'll start recording as soon as you let me know.
Did you get my email address? If not, I can send it to you again.
          Talk to you soon, Cato!

            humm.

            I'm interested in 3, 14, 15.
if you can copy them onto DVD or S-VHS(not normal VHS), it would be nice to me.

Also, you don't want a copy of the US Fest in it's entirety like you had mentioned before?

"S" means Super. JVC developed it in 1988. it looks clear as much as LD.
