I listened to the Floyd CD this weekend.

This was the first live Floyd that I have heard. It was a great way to start. From the second I put it on, and started hearing the crisp and clear thumps of the heartbeat...I knew I was in for a treat.

The fact that this was a pre-FM mix, made for great sound.

The vocals were clear, the instrumentation was balanced nicely. The panning on some of the effects were done very well.

I'm not a huge Floyd fan...so I'm not really up to who was playing what part. However, the one bluesy female backup singer had some great pipes. I thought to myself, "Damn...she must be destroying her voice singing like that night after night."

A big thanks for sending these CDs along.

I'll take a swing at Queensryche in another day or two. Maybe I'll pop the local CD in, on the way home tonight.

Checked the Pink Floyd from begining to end today, really cool. Never heard the originl band do DSOTM live before.

I like how it's a really raw and stipped down sound, epescially Us And Them and the insturmental that follows.

I'll check out the other two very soon!
