Hi everybody!

As promised, here's the "hometown" VH show from Nov. 20th, 2007 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Recorded live by Rob Rodson, edited by Rob Rodson, and authored by Rob Rodson, ie. me!

The show was recorded with a Sony DSC-T20, from section 107, row 8, seat 14, facing the stage. Security was tight with the whole "no cameras" thing, but I still managed to pass my trusty cam, hidden safely behind my zipper .

I authored the DVD on Roxio Media Creator 8. Audio is Dolby Digital AC3, taken from the original master source.

The show was amazing, just being there was a holy experience. I mean, this is their hometown, so you can imagine what it felt like to have a sold out arena chanting all the songs: Priceless!

Somebody asked in another thread for a version of the show where you could see the stage and the huge screen in the back, well here you go!

Anyway, this is my first "real" contribution to the JamToThis, so I hope you guys enjoy it! Hope this works!

I also recorded the awesome Rob Zombie & Ozzy Osbourne show from Oakland, CA on Nov. 18th, 2007. If anybody is interested let me know and I'll post it. This one was recorded near the stage on the left side. Zombie shows are scarce so let me know.

I like the almost head-on angle with the view of the big screen. I had almost this same angle for MSG... that screen is AMAZING!

I was at this show...the L.A. Homecoming...
fucking amazing show.

My first time seeing DLR & EVH onstage TOGETHER,
and it was great.

San Diego a few days later...not so much...


great show, everyone played great,
but it wasn't the mind-roasting that I received in LA.
