No I said fuck off to someone who spams the board. I don't care if he has a collection of monkeys on fire that know how to write award-winning legislation for the Congress Of The United Chimps Of America, nor do I care if he has a massive collection of used loin-cloths from some monastery in the highlands of the Himalayas.
If people wish to see his site, they will, through Google or some other means. If it is a good site, word will spread, and people will show up on their own, without him having to go spam forums such as this.
I basically said the same thing. I then went on to explain to Cato my personal philosophy about bootleg trading and people who sell bootlegs. And, I continued to explain that philosophy to you as well when you decided to enter the discussion.
I was never arguing with you, just stating my opinion on the matter.
Also, my opinion on what constitutes rare bootlegs, or whether or not they should be bought, sold, traded, destroyed, used as coasters, shoved up people's ass sideways, or whatever, have nothing whatsoever to do with people who spam the Roth Army Forums in general. This guy just happened to spark a conversation about boots between myself and Cato with his second spamming of this forum.
I had a quite obvious reason, as explained in post #2 (and beyond) of this thread, which was directed to the person who started this thread, as well as the esteemed Mr. Cato.
Good for you. Whether you buy them or not makes no difference to me. As I said before, it is sorta like treasure hunting. Finding something you did not know exists that is so cool you must have it, and if you want to pay money for it, that is entirely up to you..
Happened to me in the mid-90s when I discovered that the second show on 12/31/1969 at the Fillmore East featuring The Band Of Gypsys had been videotaped with a 2-camera shoot. I about crapped when I saw it on a table at a record convention. Bought it immediately. Simple equation:
See treasure
Aquire treasure NOW.
The single greatest guitar solo known to man, actually on videotape. Motherfucking MACHINE GUN.
That was 3-4 years before I owned a PC, and long before most of the human race had computers with DVD burners, and before the existence of RapidShare, Megaupload, BT and FTP.
Why, thank you.
You are cute when you are angry.
