The speed varies only depending on how much others are uploading.

You can stop and restart at any time without a problem but you will not get a faster speed by doing that. It's all dependent on how much other people are uploading.

That's the principle behind Bit Torrenting--one person initially starts it going (called the seed) and you'll have 50, 100, 150 whatever "leechers" waiting for the seeder to upload a complete show. Then as everyone completes their downloads it up to them to spread it, like a domino effect.

Thanks again. All I got so far is the menu. It looks like a cool ass dvd! I've been looking for a converter to change my avi file of the u.s. fest into a VOB file to burn off as a dvd.One day I'll get it.
