Kitchens of Distinction is a lush, shimmering, swirling, dreamy wall of sound. Too intelligent for mainstream radio and got limited air play in their day. We had this cool station here in DC which played them called 99.1 Whfs which is no longer..

Never really got into this one, too many of the songs sound the same to me and are forgetable..thought my view might have changed with time but it hasn't.
Also thought some of the production on the earlier tracks was trying to eulate The Misfits....
