i did get the CD/DVD set, the documentary is good too. confirms a lot of what i've read over the years. i bought it the day it came out so the $10 price wasn't much of a risk.

20TEN stinks, period. "the Purple Yoda?" come on. i'm starting to think Planet Earth was the last good Prince CD, with the lat good one before that the Gold Experience.
20Ten was the first Prince album where I couldn't find anything positive to say about it.

I preferred 3121 to Planet Earth if I'm honest (and I have no reason not to be).

Prince's problem is that he knocks albums out so regularly that they tend to be a bit inconsistent. If he released one album every two years rather than one a year, then they would have more "great" albums and less that are simply just "good".

Jimi Hendrix - Band Of Gypsys Live At The Fillmore East
Luv " Machine Gun " but the whole release is killa from tip to tail . Makes ya wonder what direction
Jimi's music would have gone in had he lived . I have no doubt that the guy would be playing
stadiums on the scale of The Rolling Stones .

P.S. Was Eddie Kramer one blessed S.O.B. or what ?!?
