Infected Mushroom is an Israeli psychedelic trance duo. Formed by Erez Aizen (also known as I.Zen) and Amit Duvdevani (also known as Duvdev) in the city of Haifa, located in north Israel, the duo has garnered a large international fanbase. Infected Mushroom are known for their consistent sonic evolution exemplified by the subsequent albums The Gathering (1999), Classical Mushroom (2000), B.P. Empire (2001), Converting Vegetarians (2003), IM the Supervisor (2004), and Vicious Delicious.

            Very interesting sound.

                    DUDES, YES!!!!!

So the time has come for Bloodbath to once again poison the scene with a contagious doze of über brutal death metal. An old acquaitance in this zombified bloodline has once again re-visited his old home. We can now announce that the vocalist on the new mini-cd is none other than Mikael Åkerfeldt courtesy of Opeth.

Second deathster to join the elite is Mr Per 'Sodomizer' Eriksson (ex-21 Lucifers, ex-Genocrush Ferox). Sodomizer's brutal death metal songwriting approach as well as guitar shredding is a highly welcomed element in the legacy of Bloodbath.

                    Present line-up:

                    Mikael Åkerfeldt - Vocals
                    Anders 'Blakkheim' Nyström - Guitar
                    Per 'Sodomizer' Eriksson - Guitar
                    Jonas Renkse - Bass
                    Martin 'Axe' Axenrot - Drums

                    Fuck. Yes.

                      <H1><BLINK>DOUBLE YES</H1></BLINK>

"Watershed" is the name of Opeth´s 9th studio observation. The album has just been mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren with M. Åkerfeldt. The album consist of 7 songs and the titles are as follows:

                      1. Coil
                      2. Heir Apparent
                      3. The Lotus Eater
                      4. Burden
                      5. Porcelain Heart
                      6. Hessian Peel
                      7. Hex Omega

All the songs have been written by M. Åkerfeldt apart from "Porcelain Heart" which was co-written with Fredrik Åkesson. One additonal track, "Derelict Herds" has also been recorded and this was written by Mikael Åkerfeldt and Per Wiberg. On top of this, 3 cover songs has been recorded. "Bridge of sighs" from Robin Trower´s 1974 Lp with the same title, "Den ständiga resan" (sung in Swedish) by Marie Fredriksson as well as the classic Alice in Chains song, "Would?".

The album was recorded at Fascination street studios during November 1 and December 13. Some addtional recordings were done between January 3rd and 7th. Produced by Jens Bogren and Mikael Åkerfeldt and Opeth.

Says Mikael Åkerfeldt: "I´ve worked so hard with these songs for quite some time now, I´ve listened to 'em a zillion times. I don't hate them just yet! The album sounds great sonically and I think I can hear us evolving as the record plays on. It is taking us somewhere musically and I don't know where. It's very exciting to say the least! I can't remember having enjoyed a recording this much ever before."

The cover was (as usual) designed by Travis Smith in co-operation with Åkerfeldt. Release date is yet to be confirmed but Roadrunner worldwide will have it out sometime in the Springtime of this year.

The Opeth album will be very good. Even if it's bad by their standards, it'll still be better than what most bands can come up with...

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

"The Lotus Eater" is probably going to be the most brutal shit we've ever heard out of Opeth.

Looking forward to the alice in chains cover, and especially the swedish cover.

Can't wait until another åkerfeldt bloodbath album.

Ghost was ho-hum for me anyway... a lot of parts were just plain boring.
