I wish I could say no, but I guess they are everywhere.
I have read in the past that Sydney has the second biggest
gay population outside of San Francisco. They have a
massive annual gay mardis gras in Sydney.

I stay well away from the city on that weekend.
Actually it was only about 4 weeks ago ?

So the answer is yes, they are here in numbers.
They do live in well defined suburbs, so you can
easily avoid them..

In an ironical reversal of PC, one Gay PUB in Oxford
St (probably the centre of the gay population in Oz)
Put up signs saying if you were hetero, you were not
welcome in the PUB.

They were taken to court for antidiscrimination, and lost !!!

When I first moved to Sydney (for work reasons) I had to
work around some of these areas in stores. I saw some
things that I wish I never did !!
