there 1st album is monumental even though it didnt sell very well it brought a new style of music and a new look..even though it was glam it was also different because of how they did it... their first album launched the career of there managaer who went on to help for the sex pistols... johnny thunders made his own band the heartbreakers and had a lot of influence of other punk acts....go to the library and find a book about punk and count how many pictures you see thunders in every book i have seen he is in at least half....after the heartbreakers he made a band with sid vicious but the barely got through one show b4 sid killed nancy and himself

new york dolls = enduring rock and roll legacy...too bad barely anyone knows of them
