A two-hour documentary of a mediocre pseudo-proggy drummer. I watched the whole fucking thing so you should to. "A drummer who sings" is a historical account of a man who wrote some of the worst 80's shit ever to be recorded and his tax write offs with Genesis. Here's Phil recalling his life from acting to riches hosted by his untalented son who seems to have no clue how to edit a two-hour documentary. It's much like Phil's drumming itself: hit or miss with absolutely no mention of his barrage of alcohol and cocaine abuse that left him in this dilapidated state he is in today. However, this is some nod to Phil destroying the careers of Robert Plant and Eric Clapton.

While I never cared for Genesis when Peter Gabriel was fronting them, I liked some of their stuff from Duke up to and including their 1983 self-titled album. I liked his first solo album, Face Value.
Never LOVED any of that stuff but liked some of it.
The most recent thing he said that bemused me was something along the lines of him being peeved because he doesn't get the degree of respect for his music that Paul McCartney does for his. Like, I'm not even a Beatlemaniac, either, but...dude, you're Phil Collins. He's Paul McCartney.Scramby eggs and bacon.
