    The Denbighshire-born singer sold 5m records with The Alarm and lived with cancer over three decades.



    Saw them a couple of times back in the day.

    One of the nice guys according to friends who met him.

      He was actually one of the better, less annoying limeys even though his band was U2-lite.

          God damn it. This one hurts. The Alarm was the most underrated band of the 80s, and Mike Peters was the most underrated songwriter. Never got the credit he deserved, and it sucks that on top of all that he had to spend the last three decades fighting cancer. Though at least it appears he made peace with his own impending death......
