Ok, Ive actually heard a few of their songs now, probably half the album. I cant stand the falsetto shit, but that aside, its pretty good stuff. Theres a lot of 70's glam influence in there aswell.
I hope Hawkins drops the falsetto in the future as his voice is cool without the castration notes..

IT'S A LANGE STORY!

THE DARKNESS have enlisted the help of a legendary rock producer for the follow-up to PERISSION TO LAND.

AC/DC producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange (the husband of Shania Twain) will work with the Lowestoft four-piece when they return to the studio, reports the BBC. The veteran has also worked with Bryan Adams, Def Leppard and Foreigner.

The Darkness have also received praise from Avril Lavigne, who claims that the band are her first choice for a collaboration.

"The Darkness are incredible," she gushed. "Their power is breathtaking and they are the one band in the world I now want to record with. I just can't stop singing their songs."
