The "Alpha" cover was by far my favorite from Asia, Not so much musically though. When i got this one I was still playing the hell out of the first and couldn't wait to hear this one. Took one look at the cover and said hell yea, but as soon as I put it on the player.......Well, I'll just say it was a big disappointment. Not horrible, but compared to the first it was not what I expected.
As far as the cover though, It is fuckin amazing!!!!!

Yup, some of them are gorgeouse. I believe the artist's name is Roger Dean and he was also responsible for a ton of the YES album covers as well.

Speaking of all those musician intertwined English progressive rock bands, I always liked this cover for Brain Salad Sugury (cool title too) from Emerson, Lake and Palmer...
I thought this was a pretty cool album cover even though it never saw the light of day and for the most part I friggin' cannot stand Bon Jovi. Still, a clever album cover, IMO.
