Gotta disagree on Concrete Blonde - They did pretty decent covers of Castles Made Of Sand and Shout (tears for fears) as well
Pearl Jam cover of 'Last Kiss'. Still playing on the radio to this day.
Spamuel Hagar covering 'Running With The Devil'.
Creedence Clearwater Revisited because IMO they ARE a coverband!
Pat Boone (YIKES!!!)
Hey, what about GOOD covers?
Disturbed doing a cover of Genesis song 'Land Of Confusion'.
Blind Guardian doing Dio's 'Don't Talk To Strangers'.

One of those "nu-metal" bands covered Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" a few years ago. Forget which one it was, since they all sound pretty much alike to me.
What Disturbed should have done is to get in touch with Spitting Image, the British Company that did the puppets for the original Genesis video, and updated the concept with Chimpy taking Reagan's place.

You thought that too? That was my first thought when I first heard that version, is that they got to do an updated version of the video.
Originally posted by Terry WASP fucking KILLED on The Real me. I never cared for that band (Blackie Lawless was always a talentless buttwipe IMO), but THAT cover version smoked.
I dug that one as well. Damn, now I need to go get it again - I haven't heard it in a decade
