I've noticed that many folk post reviews to certain concerts in this forum, but there is no thread for people to post concert reviews. So, I thought "Why don't I start a thread for people to post concert reviews".

good idea for a thread


ok a week or 2 ago i saw trivium (yea i know they suck,but i went because i couldnt see venom).to my surprise they were really good live.i hate them on cd but live they sound like good ol'e thrash.i forget what songs of therre own they played,but i remember they did this 5 min long guitar battle thing with the lead guitarist and the singer,a hell of alot of tapping.the highlight of the night was when they started playing other peoples songs,they played sweet home alabama,number of the beast,walk,domination,symphony of destruction,du hast and a few other awesome songs.i would reccomend you go see um even if you dont much care for them on cd,they are really good live,they got the crowd to go crazy.the pits were awesome.non of that stupid hardcore shit.they are very crowd interactive,they got these two guys from the audience to get up on stage and sing master of puppets with them (which i have never seen at a concert before).i stuck around after the gig for 20 mins and met all the guys and they are really nice,i got a plec and all the signatures.it was a really good night,alot of fun



ooo i have saxon comming up in a few weeks which will no doubt rock .
