All right... Then it will be AC/DC's "Rock 'n' roll damnation" for me as the one that defines rock 'n' roll best.

Tough to name just one...or even just ten. Here are some off the top of my head:

Led Zep - Black Dog - kicks ass and has been on the radio as "Rock" ever since my first radio.

AC/DC - Back In Black - almost the same reason as Zep. Lots of testosterone.

Van Halen - Runnin' With The Devil - rockers were defined as running with the devil.

Metallica - Master of Puppets - First heavy song that most everyone liked. Before school in 10th grade, almost every car or truck had that on when they pulled up to school.

Def Leppard - Photograph - One of the first rock songs that even the girls in junior high school liked (even with their Duran Duran)

Quiet Riot - Metal Health/Bang Your Head - Cause rockers are headbangers.

Two songs come to mind.

First the greatest rock and roll song of all time - Peggy Sue. Listen to the rolling drums and suddenly it makes sense that people called it jungle music. Add in that guitar solo - loud, chaotic, brilliant! Everyone since is a pussy by comparison.

The other would be Sweet Jane. Hands down the coolest song ever with the greatest guitar riff of all time. No other song makes you feel so cool when you play it.
