Doesn't really matter who opens up for Van Halen. Never did when Dave was in the band.

A reformed Ratt wouldn't be a bad choice, though, agreed. Give 'em an hour to run through Out Of The Cellar, parts of Invasion Of Your Privacy and parts of Dancin' Undercover.

Haven't made up my mind as to if I'll actually see CVH, regardless of Mikey being there or not, but one thing that WON'T be a factor or deal-breaker is which band opens up for them.

The last band on earth Van Halen wants to be associated with is motherfucking Ratt. C'mon...Van Halen ranks with LZ, Them Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, and Elvis...not Ratt, Poison, and that idiot clown that sang,"I can't hive 55."

Eric Sardinas would be a stellar, stellar opener.

        "motherfucking Ratt"!

Yeah, well, I like 'em. Obviously they aren't in the same league as Van Halen, which is why they would open for them. As opposed to Elvis, who I don't really see as opening many shows for Van Halen (even though he is alive).

No opening act wanted here. After all the bullshit Ed and Co. have put the fans through it should be a full on classic VH sonic onslaught, with all the bells and whistles from start to finish.

If they must have an opener, I could only imagine how amazing it would be for Dave to resurect the EEAS lineup to start the show. I know, it wouldn't happen in a million years. If you've got to have an opener though, that's the one for me.

I'd be happy if VH opened for Dave and the EEAS lineup.

I agree with those that say no opener...

Give me Classic VH...and lots of it.

Besides....Ratt....I am afraid that Warren might blow Eddie off the stage.
