Dolly Parton

Has anyone heard Dolly's new remake of Collective Soul's "Shine?" Very well mixed, but I never thought an alternative track could be converted into grassroots.

Don't like Shine. But her rendition of "Stairway to Heaven" is pretty cool in my book.

                It's time to admit it.

I don't own A SINGLE THING that Dolly Parton has EVER recorded.

Which is somewhat rude of me; but then again, I figure my cousin has all the money she needs.

Dolly's a sticky subject for me.

I grew up constantly being exposed to her, George Jones, Porter Wagoner, Loretta Lynn, and Tammy Wynette.

I don't particularly like her music, or her voice. But I do respect the businesswoman that she is...and quite literally that's about it.

Well, she certainly knew how to make a name for herself, there's no doubt of that. Considering what I know of the rest of the Parton clan, I'd have been in a mad dash to get OUT of it as well...

                    Can't blame her...

                        The rest of the Partons...

Now add about 17 more of them living in a log cabin and you're getting pretty close to accurate....lmao
