Yes it does. I can't wait to see them live this year. It would be really cool if they would tour with COC again like back in 2005

Man, I can't get over how great this disc sounds! When they said "It's a pissed-off sounding record" they were not joking. A lot of it is fucking heavy. The song "Lesson" is a sonic blast of concrete. A disc that will be well worth the money. I'll be buying my official copy at the store on 2/20. Classic Fu Manchu with fuzz is back.

Shit yes! Bring it on. I also saw where they're playing Nashville in late March.

The Fu lost me after King of the road. Some damn good music along the same genre: Dozer, Valis, Brant Bjork, QOTSA (Eagles of death metal, desert sessions, etc), Atomic bitchwax, Orange Goblin, the list could go on. Valis "Champions of magic" is probably one of the best albums I have heard since... I don't know, a long time.

Maybe you should check out We Must Obey. It'll probably get you back on track.

I could get 4 tracks so far, the first 3 and the 5th song, "Shake It Loose", which I can't help playing and playing again. Huge!

I think "Lesson" is my favorite. It kicks ass. The closest they're coming to me is Charlotte. Guess I'll have to make a road trip.

Picked this up on Monday and must have listened to it ten times already!

Fuck yeah, killer record: back to the old sound, fuzzed out guitars (rather than cleaner sonding ones) which compliment the bass tones.

Not a bad song here, even the Cars cover is a killer: but they have that old feel back again of songs that have come from jams, capturing moments of magic - some reviewers always criticsing this band for not pushing themselves hard enough, but I think that's their charm, capturing the stoned out, lazy vibe but with a ton of energy.

And it's recorded so it blasts out of the speakers, but real raw too, you can feel the drums (and the bass) which always makes records more human to me. It's right up there with "The Action is Go" as their best record, IMO.

And this is heavy as fuck, if there's a heavier record this year I'll be surprised.

I told you guys that this one kicks ass.

As I said before, its a sonic blast of concrete. The way "Heavy" is meant to sound. Also the grooves are mighty smooth......
I just got back from a seven day Disney World & Busch Gardens trip and it was part of my road music all week.
